Yesterday, went for OM competition for the long-term problem. Watched the laugh-a-thon first cause they were before us. We thought that they really had a good chance of winning! Really. So damn good lor!
After a long time waiting, it was finally our turn. While laugh-a-thon took place in the room, our category took place in the hall of performing arts. The stage damn slippery and I was supposed to drag myself across. I was wearing stockings on my arms so even more slippery! They were a few last minutes changes. For example the sword thingy. But all ended well.
Think quite good cause the judges said it was good.
Watched the other school's performances. One of them didn't get to finish because their time was up, for others, most of their monster were made of those remote-controoled car. Including this ACJC. Their storyline was about environment where the nighmarish past was when the people wanted to cut down trees. And their monster wasn't scary. And the changing of appearance wasn't technical. And they dragged the banana when the instruction clearly stated that the monster was supposed to pick it up!
Ok, you must be thinking why am I like so against them. That's because they won the fucking 1st place in our category! Because of them, we got 2nd!! That's part of the reason. The other reason was because we forgot to put the monster's 5 tasks in the paper. So, the judges did not give any marks for the tasks the monster performed. Our total mark was 129. Luckily, Lingam persuaded them and we got 137! Yes! If our spontaneous round was better, we could get a higher chance of winning. Oh well.
Anyway, when the result was out, alot of the winners were from ACSI. So we were thinking ' Wdh, So biased.' Guess what? There were Chung Cheng Primary sitting in front of us, and they said the same thing! That's how we became friends! So cute lar they. Primary 5 only. Then for their category which is 'Stunt mobile, Division 1' they won champion! Haha! They were so blur at first! Like don't know what to do! Haha. We clapped and cheered for them loud sia.
When we got 1st runner-up, they in turn cheered for us! So happy.
The 'Laugh-a-thon' team and Sec 2 'In your Dreams' team got 4th runner up. You both are winners in our heart too!! Laugh-a-thon, the judge was freaking stupid to penalise you all just for a stupid box! Doesn't make any sense. Dont be sad, cheer up!!
Later, ate dinner with Luoling, Mas and Erinna. Siva treated us.
Didn't go class today. Sick.
